3 Year Old Program

Our 3 year old program places a strong emphasis on making sure each child feels safe, secure and supported as they grow in confidence to explore and learn. Educators work closely with each child helping them to establish and maintain respectful, trusting relationships with other children and educators.

As from 2025, the 3 year old program hours have increased to 15 hours per week. Sessions are delivered on Thursday and Friday with a maximum of 30 children in each session.

All sessions are staffed with a university-trained early childhood teacher and a Diploma trained co-educator.

Excursions/Incursions/Special Occasions

Based on the children’s interests and teacher planned experiences, various incursions and excursions are arranged each year.

All core incursions and excursions are provided by the preschool at no cost to families.

Recognising and celebrating special occasions such as Birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Christmas, Chinese New year and Diwali not only help the children develop a strong sense of who they are but also provides an opportunity to explore the diversity of culture, heritage, background and tradition in our community and build respect for different ways of being and doing.

Eligibility for the 3 Year Old Program

To be eligible, your child must turn three on or before 30 April in the year they attend. Children can start kinder once they turn 3 years old.
